The Virtual Silver Falcons are a South African team of aviation enthusiasts and real-world pilots dedicated to accurately portraying the disciplined art of formation flying in the digital airspace.
The team carries the heritage and spirit of the South African Air Force Silver Falcons into the virtual environment, while also representing the Marksmen Aerobatic Team.
Every display is the result of aircraft development, planning, rehearsal and the same trust that makes close formation aerobatics possible in the real world.

The Virtual Silver Falcons aircraft is being developed exclusively by TheAIR.Tech for the team.
South Africa became the launch customer for the PC-7 MkII with an order for 60 aircraft in 1993. The type continues to serve several air forces around the world.

THE
MARKSMEN
The Virtual Marksmen bring the high-energy, close-formation character of the real Marksmen Aerobatic Team into the simulator environment.
The team has flown four-aircraft displays featuring close formation and freestyle aerobatics, and has appeared at virtual airshows including VSAF, VIAF and FIDAE.

FROM THE
SIM TO THE REAL WORLD.
In September 2024, the Virtual Silver Falcons were invited to AFB Langebaanweg to meet the real Silver Falcons Display Team. The visit included a live two-ship display, a walk-around of the PC-7 MkII, cockpit time and an opportunity to fly the full-fidelity simulator with South African Air Force instructors.
The experience reinforced the team's goal: use the digital environment to pursue the same standards of precision, discipline and professionalism found in real formation aerobatics.
